Trois Pistoles

I don’t know why but I love the name of this town.  And old too, 1697, that’s old for Canada.  Had an interesting day.  The first couple of hours were great.  Nice change of pace to be riding along the St Laurence. Since I’m off course anyway, I thought I’d try the coast road for a bit.  Had a stop at Tim Hortons and met my first long distance cyclist.  Daniel has also been riding across the country. It was fun to have a chat and trade some stories.

Unfortunately between Three Pistols and Rimouski the road got busy.  Nice big shoulder but I’ve been spoilt.  If it does not improve tomorrow,  I’ll jump back onto the trail. We will see what happens.
