St John’s Not Quite

The plan was St John’s today.  Didn’t quite make it.   We’re in a suburb called  Mt Pearl.  Hunkered down in a campsite just on the edge of the city.  Tomorrow’s the day.  A 25k ride out to Cape Spier tomorrow and the adventure will be complete.  Crazy to think that will be it.  No words can really explain how I am feeling.  Maybe it will come to me. 🤔

Had a great day riding.  Some very typical GNBR terrain.  Check out the bridge pic.  Even had a close encounter with a large family of ducks that decided the trail was their’s.  Never a dull moment on this route.  I have decided the Mathew Kady and the Kennet Brothers are kindred spirits.
