All good things must come to an end.  I find these adventures always seem to change my perspective.  Bigger the adventure, bigger the change.  This was definitely my biggest adventure and to be honest it will take me a while to figure it all out.  You were right Malc.  One thing is for sure, the amazing support I received was the real power that drove me to the finish.  I feel truly humbled by the amazing kindness, love and support I received along the way.

There are so many people I need to thank and must start with my parents.  My mother was the toughest person I ever met and I really believe she raised my sister and I to be pretty resilient.  Thanks mom.  My dad is really the impetuous to all of the crazy stuff I’ve done over the last 10 years.  Thanks for challenging me to get more out of life.

Thanks to all my friends, family and followers who encouraged me along the way.  The blogging really kept me connected to all of you and the support was amazing.

Thanks to Chris, Davey and Stephane, my riding buddies.  Having friends to ride with made such a difference.  You guys are legends.

Then there are all the visits with friends and family along the route: Mary, Brent, Rhys, Kelsey, Brett, Jaye, Jim, Lani, Kathy, Kevin, Lianne, Brent, Todd, Lucille, Rick, Cathy, Helen & Myriam.  These stays were amazing oasis on the trail, so wonderful, I have no words.  Thanks.

Also, all the kindness and support I received from strangers along the way.  It’s so crazy to me how wonderful and kind everyday people you encounter are.  It really shows the better side of our character.  Thank you to all the many strangers I met along the way. 🙏

Finally my wife Lana and my two sons Brett & Rhys.  Without your amazing support I would never have attempted, let alone completed this adventure.  You know.  Thanks.

As part of this trip I decided to raise awareness for the process of true reconciliation with our First Nations communities here in Canada.  As part of that I decided to partner with the Indspire charity.  I am pleased to announce that through your many kind donations we were able to raise $6802 to date.  You are to be congratulated, these funds will go towards helping First Nations students complete their education.  A great way to support true reconciliation.  My thanks to you all.  As a last shameless plug.  You can still contribute for the next couple of months if you would like.  Links on the web site.

So now that it’s done let’s look at the numbers.

Distance: 12461 KM

Riding Days: 151

Rest Days: 34

Max Day: 149 KM

Min Day:  5 KM

Daily Avg: 83 KM\Day

We achieved this together.  My thanks to you all.  You can see I was pretty stoked to finish🙏♥️
