The Appalaches

Who knew, it’s kind of obvious when you think about it, of which I had not.  I am camping less than 10k from the border to Maine.  The Appalachian mountain range starts here.  For some reason I never thought about it being in Quebec too.  I nice surprise.

Not as hilly today but the ones that were on my route kept my legs busy and my pace slower. Had a pretty short day planned so I stopped at every little town along the route.  Made for an interesting day.

The other reason I was stopping at every town, a we error on my part.  I had planned to stop at a Canadian tire on my way out of QC as I was running low on camp gas.  Of course, you guessed it, I forgot.  Now I was stopping at every store along the route hoping for some gas.  Nothing so far.  It’s getting dicey as I’ve got some longer stretches ahead of me with only very small towns for resupply.  Pray for me 🙏
