Should I Stay or Should I Go

I awoke and packed up as usual.  No one was around the night before and no one had come buy.  That changed just as I was about to depart.  A nice gentleman informed me that the campsite was closed.  However he said it was OK that I stayed and there would be no charge.  How nice is that.

I had a pretty big day planned. 50k to the next bigger, and by bigger I mean a small town with a few shops.  Then it was 100k with no services.   My gas was still an issue.  It’s looking more and more likely I will have drop off the route to find some.  Last time I had this much trouble finding camp gas I was in Spain.  I have a day or so to decide but time is definitely running out.

I finished the day on a long stretch of quad trail, definitely pretty bumpy for most of it.  At the end of the trail was this awesome rest stop.  A cool little building to get out of the weather, outhouses and picnic tables.  Even grass to pitch my tent.  I’m sure no one will mind. We will see what tomorrow brings.
