Onto the Cabot Trail

Having the night in the motel worked out great.  Got all our stuff, the bikes and ourselves dry.  Bonus, great bistro next door with amazing fish & chips, beer and east coast entertainment.  Could it get any better!

The riding started with blue skies and nice rail trail.  We have some big climbs coming so an easier day was definitely welcomed.  We made good progress and had lots of time for stops.  Second breakfast, pie & ice cream, more ice cream.  You get the picture.  The Cabot Trail is pretty popular so with that comes lots of options.

We finished our day just as we entered Cape Breton Highlands National Park.  Ended up eating at the campsite.  A salad if you can believe it!  Now some much needed relax time.  Three big climbs tomorrow.  Wish us luck 🤞
