We made it. Newfoundland. The last province to ride. We had a pretty uneventful ferry crossing. Had a great spot to set up my sleep system for the night crossing. Add to that quiet seas and before I knew it we had arrived. You sure notice the difference when you get here. It looks different, it feels different, heck, the people certainly sound different. I’m pretty excited to explore.
After a bit of time at a local breakfast place making a plan we were ready to go. Resupply and then a ride to a provincial campground ~10k out of town. The rail trail was pretty rough, we had been warned, so it was a bit slow going. After an hour or so we made it to our destination. Riding done for the day. It was a rest day after all.
