Oka Bational Park

Nice easy ride today.  Got supplies and a great coffee in Hudson and then the ferry across the Saint Laurence.  Pretty cool, I am just upstream of Montreal here, can really start to feel the history coming out.  What history I remember that is. 🤪

I decided to stay at the Oka National park.  Turns out it’s a national park but run by the province.  Anyway, it’s super cool. Since I am a cyclist they give me special treatment in Quebec.  Guaranteed spot and a discount.  Only $22.  Yes you saw that right folks. Best value I have seen.  BC was close but everywhere else quite a bit higher. Not only that but food seems cheaper here too.  I’ll have to see how my budget goes.

Oh ya, the mosquitos are out, in force too.  Ah Canada in early summer. 👍😎🚵🏻‍♂️
