Let the Hills Begin

Yup, it’s started.  I was off just after 8:00am.  Working my way further and further from QC.  You can definitely feel it when you leave a city.  Each small town gets less and less affected and then, all of a sudden, it’s done.  You have gone full rural.  Well that’s where I ended up after about 70k.   It was still early and my legs were feeling good so I decided to push on to the next camping site.  It was up in the hills and it sounded pretty nice.

I kinda knew the hills would start and did they ever.  The last 25k took me 3 hours and I must admit to a being a bit tired when I arrived.  Up and down from about 200m to 600m.  There was no-one around when I arrived, so I followed the instructions to the dedicated Vélo camping.  Right by a river. Sweet!  This is such a great spot.  Goodnight everyone!
