It was going to Happen

Whenever I do this kind of trip you hit mental challenges along the way.  For me it was today.  For whatever reason I just found the riding tough today.  It was not hilly, weather was nice, not too hot.  Really had no reason to struggle. But I did.  Chalk it up to, mmmm, don’t have anything.  I got it done!

Ended the day just outside Quebec City at a KOA.  Have not stayed in one of these for like 25 years.  Must say I am impressed.  Reasonable price, great staff, lots of facilities.  And, they even have a shuttle to old Quebec City centre.  I was going to grab a hotel on the outskirts tomorrow after my visit.  This way it’s way better.

1) I get a rest day.

2) I can be nice and clean while I visit.

3) No bike to worry about.

4) Save myself the cost of a hotel

How good is that.  So maybe the riding was tough today, but my campsite, cheered me right up.  👍😎
