It’s About Time!

After some time on the phone with WestJet a baggage strategy was put together.  I was very happy to see the baggage office open when I arrived at the airport.  Roul helped retrieve my bike and just like that things were looking up.

It had rained all day Saturday so really being delayed kinda worked out.  Thanks again Helen for the hospitality.  Sunday morning and I was up by 5:00am.  It had seemed like forever and finally the riding was going to begin.  By 7:30 I had the bike unpacked, gear mounted and I was ready to go. Off I went.

It was not long before the rain started, so it was find a coffee shop time.  After an hour or so the rain lightened up and I was on the move again. The day was cool and wet but overall not too bad.  After about 65k I decided to call it for the day.  I’ve got a great camping spot with a food truck out front.  Tomorrow the weather is supposed to improve.  Fingers crossed. 🤞🚵🏻‍♂️
