Flying Boat

Interesting day today.  Had a great breakfast and yarn with the locals at the Tim’s.  Really does feel very Canadiana.  Short day so we had a few stops.  First my new tire hadn’t quite seated so we had a little roadside repair work.  Of course the gentleman who lived across the road came out to see if he could help.

Then lunch at the Southside Hair & Tanning.  I’m sure she does that too, but she also runs a great little convenience store.  We were just heading out of town when we came across the whole community heading to the Flying Boat Festival.   We couldn’t miss that now could we.  Had a nice snack and mingled a bit before continuing.

Our final destination for the day, one of NFLD’s great provincial parks.  Could a day of riding get any better?
