First Week Done

So my first week is done.

529km.  I feel OK with that.  Honestly it’s been a pretty good first week.  Starting on easier terrain, only one hill all week, certainly gave my body time to adapt.  Thanks Helen and Malcolm, I transposed your hiking idea to my ride!

Had an interesting day today.   Continued my swing through the Eastern townships.   Started this morning in Drummondville and ended the day just outside of Victoriaville.   On my way out of town to the campsite, I ran into an interesting phenomena.  The bike track was packed with scooters.   And I mean rush hour traffic packed.  Now the last time I experienced this was in Benidorm, Spain.  Kind of blew me away.  Not all oldies either.  It’s kind of sad to see so many people whose fitness is so limited 🥲.

Feel super lucky that I can keep going.  For now anyway. 🤞🚵🏻‍♂️
