After the previous day of rain, coffee shops and an early motel stay, I was hoping I could get a good day of riding in. The day definitely was looking up. Better in that it as not raining, but man it was cold and windy. And by windy, I mean some of the gusts literally brought me to a full stop. So the day was challenging. When the wind was in my face I was flying along at ~5 km/hr. When it was with me a staggering 35 km/hr. The last time I experienced wind like this Lana and I were riding the high plateaus of western Argentina. Now, just add relentless sets of sharp steep hills all day, you get the picture. My legs are cooked. Found a great campsite with very friendly proprietor, now for some rest time.
