Ahhhh the Norwester!

Lots of rain overnight.  The morning did not look better.  We decided to continue.  How bad could it be, right?  It was supposed to start clearing up by noon.   Well the rain continued and the wash from the traffic definitely soaked us.  Add to that a 1 deg windchill.  You get the picture.

After 15k we decided to do second breakfast and try to wait out the rain.  By 1:00 it was not improving so we continued anyway.  I will admit my fingers and toes were numb.  First time on the trip.  As the afternoon progressed the rain did stop and the roads dried.  We were cold and damp and there were no camping options near us by the end of the day.  Best bet, a hotel.  Dry out and a nice meal at the Don Cherry pub.  I did not know he had a franchise 🤔
